Adding a bat to the bench, Eric Owens makes his way to the Stouts roster.  To be honest, I've had my eye on him for about a dozen rounds.  I almost selected him in round 13 when I picked Rondell White.  That was 178 picks ago.  Flabbergasted he is still on the board, but not complaining.

While there is no spot in the OF for him to get many starts, Owens will be the #1 pinch-hitter off the bench.  In 2000, he hit .293 overall, swinging the bat equally well from both sides of the plate (.307 v left, .287 v right).  He provides speed (29 SBs) and good defense at all three OF positions.

Still need a left-handed bat off the bench.  And a lefty in the bullpen.
